Just one of my favorite destinations. The best and cheaper way to visit it is by buying a pass, which gives you acess to the public system transportation (vapporettos). Then buy yourself a map and just get lost out there.

The main problem with Venice are the crowds. You’ll lose a lot of time in queues so plan the visits carefully.
